Wujin district governor Chen Zhiliang visits CIIT

On the morning of April 8, Chen Zhiliang, governor of Wujin District, and Li Lei, deputy governor of Wujin District, paid a visit to Changzhou Institute of Industry Technology (CIIT), accompanied by heads of Organization Department of Wujin District Committee of CPC, Wujin District Government Office, Science and Technology Bureau, Finance Bureau, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Natural Resources and Planning Bureau. President Yang Jinsong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee Mao Bomin and vice president Wu Liyun attended the research meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Jiang Xinping.

Yang Jinsong introduced the school's development process, talent training, major repertoire, school enterprise cooperation, employment and entrepreneurship, and the integration of industry, college and research, initiating in-depth exchanges of views on the recruitment of high-level talents and the scientific and technological innovation of modern technology application-oriented enterprises.

Chen Zhiliang sincerely congratulated CIIT on winning the first prize in the comprehensive assessment of local colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province for two consecutive years, and fully affirmed CIIT’s deep integration of talent training and local industrial chain. He pointed out that the development of local economy is inseparable from the intellectual support of higher vocational colleges and their outpouring graduates’ joining in the skilled industrial workforce. He also hoped that on the basis of the original good cooperation, the two sides would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, explore new areas of cooperation, and achieve a new breakthrough of “butt-to-butt within the same city ”.

Leaders of CIIT’s Party and Administration Office, Reform and Development Research Office, Personnel Department, School Enterprise Cooperation Department, Finance Department, Science and Technology Department, Humanities and Social Sciences Department, Logistics Management Division, and Continuing Education School also attended the research meeting.
