On the morning of 30th October, 3 deputy principals of our School of Overseas Education, Ma Lijuan, Miao Shuangming, Tu yanqun, along with 2 staff conducted a survey of education opening up in Wuxi Institute of Technology. The principal Xiong Ying of the School of International Education of Wuxi Institute of Technology, along with her assistant Sun Taiwei, gave a warm reception.
In the meeting of the survey, Xiong Ying combined the school’s internationalised development idea of “Input – Creation – Output”, introduced in detail the development situation of optimising output of vocational education insofar as education opening up, and further introduced the working experience of international cooperation programmes such as Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, international student enrolment and management, and international student nurturing.
Ma Lijuan appreciated for the warm reception of Wuxi Institute of Technology, highly praised its extant results in international communication and cooperation, and expressed a need to learn its experience and deeds in education opening up.
What followed is a deep discussion of such aspects as quality improving of international students in China, education mode of school-enterprise cooperation, and sustainable development of over-border training programmes.
Two sides of representors stated a strong willing to enhance communication, promote friendship, conduct deep communication with respect to international communication and cooperation, and work together for education opening up of our province.
After the meeting, the 5 staff of our School of Overseas Education visited Academician Building of Wuxi Institute of Technology.
